You’re moving! Now the fun begins. You’re probably thinking, “How are we ever going to clear out the basement, how can we make our teenagers keep their rooms clean for showings, what do we do with our two dogs, three cats and Grandma, how do we choose the right real estate agent?” Let me help.
If you already have a great agent, call him or her; they will appreciate your loyalty. If you don’t, call me and I’ll show you how to sell your home with the least amount of stress and aggravation, in the shortest amount of time.
It’s very important that we price your home well. I know, you’re not going to give it away, and I don’t expect you to. I want you to get the best possible return on your investment. The most critical time in selling your home is in the first three weeks, and if we overprice it, we’ve lost the momentum. If we underprice it, the buyers will knock your door down in their eagerness to bring you offers, usually over asking price. I will show you all the comparable homes that have sold recently in your neighbourhood, and their selling prices. Together we’ll come up with a realistic asking price for your home.
I am a full-time, active real estate agent with proven negotiating skills. My livelihood depends on my ability to successfully and repeatedly close real estate transactions. I will not tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. I’m open to your suggestions – I may not implement them, but I’m always willing to listen. You may not like everything I say, but if it helps to get your home sold quickly and efficiently, I will be blunt. I appreciate your input and together we’ll determine the best way to market your home. I will listen to you and keep you informed, both on showing feedback and on current market conditions.
My promise is to provide you with sound real estate advice and help you understand the future implications of the decisions you make. My goal is to build a life-long relationship with you, based on trust. My mission is to make a positive difference in your transaction, your life, and ultimately, in the world.
